You will eventually reach the fuel cap in a stock tune, but you'd never see it from a DP and exhaust. You really need the tune to unlock the potential of the DP.

A soundclip of Dinan's 340i exhaust comparing the stock system to the Dinan Free Flow exhaust, with and without the mid-pipe. I think it sounds nice with just a downpipe. A full exhaust is a different beast altogether. For power, if you don't plan on tuning then don't waste your time with a downpipe. You're not going to notice much aside from throttle response and a deeper note/louder burbles. A full exhaust is a different beast altogether. For power, if you don't plan on tuning then don't waste your time with a downpipe. You're not going to notice much aside from throttle response and a deeper note/louder burbles.
