So you are going to be hitting very slightly higher with void, but you're going to be eating more and get much shorter trips with void. Just eating more alone is going to hit hard on your dps. Karil's is better but only very marginally so it's probably not worth using over d'hide once you facotr in repair costs. mage def barely matters at zulrah since the only magic damage you take is from the mage snakelings, and karil's range defense is barely better than black d'hide (+4 total from top and bottom).
